Adults and children can experience the joy of being a mermaid! This session takes place at The Wave, Sea Road, Littlehampton
One adult and one child can join in the fun on Sunday 22nd March (Mother’s Day) – 12:50pm – 13:30pm (40 minutes). Book now to enjoy the magic of being a mermaid for you and your child.
You will be able to try out mermaid swimming; experience hand stands, tail flips and more with your chosen adult (mum/dad/grandma/grandpa/aunt/uncle/big sister etc…)! One participant must be aged 6-16 and one participant must be over 18.
I will provide all tails and fins; these are included in the price of the session.
You will be able to download the forms you need to bring on the day. If you have attended before, you will not need to fill these in again.
How does a lesson work?
A lesson is made up of a warm up, some skills work without fins, some fin time and a cool down. Lessons are designed to be fun, build confidence and develop skills above and below the water!
What do I need to know?
I am passionate about safety. To swim with me, everyone will need to have achieved Swim England Stage 5 (Previously ASA Stage 5). To ensure everyone’s safety, if your child does not have Swim England Stage 5 but has an equivalent, they still must be able to complete the following:
Children (and adults) must be able to:
- Swim 25m confidently on their front and back
- Tread water for 30 seconds
- Roll over in the water horizontally
- Be happy going under the water
- Perform a dolphin kick
We will do a fun warm up in which I will assess their ability to complete these skills. Any children who are unable to manage these skills will not be able to wear a monofin or tail.
